How to connect Expedia

Step 1: Connect Hoteliers.Guru Channel Manager to Expedia.

  1. Log-in to Expedia extranet (https://www.expediapartnercentral.com)
  2. Click "Rooms and Rates" -> select "Connectivity settings"


     
  3. In Select your provider -> click "Get Started" (If another provider is already connected, click "Disconnect")


     
  4. In Search box -> entering "Hoteliers.Guru Channel Management"



     
  5. Click "Next" button


     
  6. Availability and Rates -> click "Connect" button
    Messaging -> click "Connect" button
    Reservations -> click "Connect" button


     
  7. Click "Next" button


     
  8. Click "Confirm" button


     
  9. Finished

Step 2: Start mapping Expedia in channel manager.

  1. Log in to Hoteliers.Guru Channel Manager (https://apps.hoteliers.guru/channel-manager)
  2. Click on "Channels"
  3. Expedia -> click on "Settings" button
  4. Click on "Retrieve room rate" button
  5. Start mapping room rate by steps on mapping guide link: https://cms.hoteliers.guru/product-manual/channel/mapping-guide

Note:

  • You can map multiple rate plans from Expedia’s child rates to a single rate plan on the Hoteliers.Guru Channel Manager.

Step 3: Once the mapping is complete, check your inventory, confirm the connection, and enable Expedia in channel manager.

  1. Select "Setting" tap
  2. Status -> select "Enabled"
  3. Click "Save" button
  4. Finished

Important Note:

  • Enabled status: The Channel Manager will send all updates to the booking channel for the mapped room.
  • Disabled status: The Channel Manager will not send any updates to the booking channel for the mapped room.

Step 4: Review Allotment and Rates on Expedia

The final step is to refresh your Expedia Extranet allotment and rates calendar, then verify that the allotment and rates pushed from the Channel Manager are correctly matched. If the information does not match, please contact the Hoteliers.Guru Support Team for further assistance.
