How to create promotion.

- Select Promotion
- Create Promotion -> Select Discount Type
- Select the promotion kind you want to create.
- Daily Rate (important) : it is a daily selling price.without any discount involved.
- Early Bird : It is a form of in-advance reservation; for instance, a 40% discount is offered for reservations made 30 days in advance.
- Last Minute : It is a form of express booking; for instance, a 25% discount is offered for reservations within 3 days before check-in.
- Free Night : It is a type that specifies how many nights are free, for instance, stay 4 nights and only pay for 3 nights.
- Customize (popular) : It is a form of general discount, for instance, 20% Special Discount. - Select Create Promotions
For example, create promotion "Customize".
STEP 1 : BASIC
1. Rate Plan : Select the rate plan you wish to offer in the promotion you create , such as Room Only, Room with Breakfast
2. Code : Enter the promotion code , such as 20off, Dis20
3. Name : Enter a promotion name to show for customers, such as Special Discount 20%
4. Support Device : Can select whether to book this promotion on your desktop or mobile device.
5. Minimum Stay : Can choose the minimum number of nights in this promotion.
Maximum Stay : Can choose how many nights you can stay in this promotion.
6. Nationality : Can choose that this promotion can only be reserved for customers of certain nationalities.
7. IP Country : Can choose that this promotion can only be reserved for certain IP Country.
8. Description (Desktop)
9. Apply Room : Select the room you want to sell in the promotion you will create. For instance, if every rooms are sale, select All.
10. Cancellation Policy : Select a cancellation policy for the upcoming promotion, such as Non-Refundable.
11. Deposit : keep the deposit of the promotion such as 10%, 50%, 100%.
12. Status : select Published
STEP 2 : CONDITION
13. Booking Condition : Setting the the promotion's conditions It is divided into details as follows:
- None : Unconditional
- Book in advance : How many days in advance should be make reservations before check in.
- Book within : Book within how many days before check-in date.
14. Stay From : start date of stay, Stay To : End date of stay
15. Optional Condition -> click Hide/Show (if any)16. Blackout From (if any)
17. Booking Date (if any)
18. Check-in On (if any)
19. Display On : The day on which the reservation system page will display the promotion in the system. (Front-End) (if any)
20. Booking Time (if any)
STEP 3 : DISCOUNT
21. Discount Type
- Percentage per night
- Amount per night
- Amount per room per booking
22. Click Add Period
23. Stay Date From, Stay Date To
24. Apply on night Promotional discount type It is divided into details as follows:
- Every Night : The discount per night is the same every night, such as, 20% off every night.
- Specific night : There are different discounts for each night, such as a 20% discount for the third night (on 3rd night).
- Specific Day of week : Discounts for each day of the weekly, such as 20% off Saturday-Sunday (On Sunday+On Saturday)
- First night : Discount only for the first night
- Last night : Discount only last night
25. Apply on room type : Discount type according to the room type of the promotion. It is divided into details as follows:
- All : Give a discount on every room
- Specific room type : Only provide discounts on specific types of rooms, such as a 20% superior discount.26. Get Discount : Enter the discount amount, such as 20, 30.
27. Status : select Publish
28. Click Add Discount Period
Please Note : The hotel can press Add Discount Period by giving different discounts in the same promotion, such as promotion for booking 3 days in advance, staying from 1 Apr'2021 to 31 Nov'2021 by giving Discounts are as follows:
Period 1 : 1 Apr'2021 - 1 Oct'2021 give a 30% discount
Period 2: 1 Nov'2021 - 31 Nov'2021 give a 20% discount
STEP 4 : BENEFIT (You can enter or not enter details.)
29. If want to enter information of benefits -> Click Add Benefit
30. Click Add Promotion >> complete
